Our secure container terminal is designed to allow easy access for tank trucks from outside to inside the depot and vice versa. Handling is performed through high-end machinery, well-maintained and driven by highly qualified personnel, in conformity with the highest safety standards. The site benefits from a fully operational security system and is equipped with a self-contained fire-fighting system.

MAINTENANCE

At EDS, we perform testing, repair and maintenance work in line with international standards. Our technicians are well-trained to perform repair works on site and to facilitate this process, EDS maintains a wide range of specific spare parts, specialized materials and components in stock.

CERTIFICATION

At EDS, we perform testing, repair and maintenance work in line with international standards, and perform testing to show compliance to international guidelines. Testing can be done in cooperation with our customers' desired certifications and in line with standard requirements. This includes periodic testing in line with 2.5 and 5-years test certificate requirements in coordination with Bureau Veritas.

IBC Wash Bay

One wash bay specified for cleaning tank trucks and IBCs using a specific IBC cleaning head uses the water jet reaction force to make the head spin at high speed with a range of low and high-pressure nozzles. With such up-to-date equipment, we guarantee you reliable, time saving and cost-efficient IBC.

Optimal Pressure

The correct pressure is crucial for the cleaning result. Some residual cargo is easy to clean with a maximum of 50 or 100 bar. For certain chemicals, extra high pressures are required to clean the tanks in which they were transported. For the optimal result, a program automatically matches the residual products with a suitable detergent.

Automated Dryers

Automated machinery ensures that the process for drying is efficient and speedy. That means that the bay is again quickly available for a new tank. Warm filtered air is used for drying. These filters comply with the strictest requirements defined by operators. The air is blown into the tanks through stainless steel blowpipes, which keeps the hoses intact and limits pollution.

Automated Wash Bays

3 automated wash bays for ISO tanks and 1 bay for tank trucks are available with state-of-the-art cleaning equipment and multiple spinners per bay. Specialized chemicals are used for cleaning of interior surfaces of the ISO Tank according to the nature of the product. The entire process is ensured through a computerized system which makes use of the reference chemicals database to efficiently conduct cleaning operations.

Automated Temperature

Cleaning is performed using chemicals, high pressure and high temperature steam jets. The cleaning water and chemicals mixture are introduced to the high-pressure rotor-jet-assembly attached to the cleaning hatch of the ISO Tank. High pressure pumps ensure that the required pressure necessary to clean the ISO Tanks along with the chemical dosing has been attained.
